Deterministic parsing model of CBE factor for intracellular $$^{10}$$B distribution in boron neutron capture therapy

Deterministic parsing model of Compound Biological Effectiveness (CBE) in BPA-mediated BNCT was proposed for intra-organ $$^{10}$$B distribution. In defining the biological effects of the $$^{10}$$B(n,$$alpha$$)$$^{7}$$Li neutron capture reaction, CBE factor model is expressed; CBE = CBE0 + F/2$$cdot$$[1-(Nth/N)(-1/n)][2-(Nth/N)(-2/n)+ (Nth/N)(-1/n)] (0$$<$$Nth/Nmax$$<$$1) Where r and r0 are distance between boron atoms and $$alpha$$ range, N and Nth are boron concentration and threshold of $$^{10}$$B concentration in tissues and tumour, and constants CBE0, F and n are obtained as 0.5, 8 and 3 for normal tissues and for tumour, respectively. N and Nth are evaluated the bio-distribution of $$^{10}$$B in normal tissues and tumour after infusion.
